David A. Kulwicki is former Chairman of the Medical Negligence Section of the Ohio Academy of Justice. David A. Kulwicki has been a trial lawyer for 23 years. He has tried over 80 jury trials and appeared in 22 of Ohio’s 88 county courts. As of 2014, he has recovered verdicts or settlements exceeding $1,000,000.00 on behalf of clients on 15 occasions. He graduated from the University of Texas-Austin with honors in economics and from the Ohio State University School of Law with his juris doctor where he was an Articles Editor on Law Review. Mr. Kulwicki is a past Chairman of the Medical Negligence Section of the Ohio Academy of Justice (OAJ), past Chairman of OAJ's Constitutional Review Committee and past member of the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys. He has lectured and written on various topics related to medical negligence litigation. Mr. Kulwicki practices primarily in the area of medical negligence and catastrophic injury cases resulting in brain injury. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an Advocate recognized by the National College of Advocacy, and a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the Ohio Academy of Justice (OAJ) and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys (CATA).
